The Death of Death

Last Sunday (April 04,2010) saw the conclusion of a different kind of exhibit regarding death at the Crucible at SM MegaMall in Mandaluyong.

It showcases some works of personalities like Joey de Leon, Lourd De Veyra and Jessica Zafra to name a few.

Its a multimedia presentation of sorts as the exhibit not only plays with the mind through the sense of sight, but also through sound. Too bad the sense of touch can't be stimulated (all the exhibits are hands off)

"The Audacity  of Dope" by Lourd de Veyra.  At one time, it seems to be playing a looping eerie, playful laughter...

The exhibits has moved me in ways even I cannot understand...or point out.

"Pleasure First Before Death" by Mark Dungaw Tandoyog. This is my favorite installation
